The Aegean Driftwood Lamp
39°7'N, 23°51'E — Sporades
The Expedition
Recovered from a remote shingle beach on the leeward side of Alonnisos after a post-storm dive survey. The driftwood had been shaped by the Aegean over what we estimate to be fifteen years — every edge worn to a deliberate softness.
The Craft
The Thinker designed the shade geometry around the wood's own silhouette. The Inventor drilled the cable channel by hand, preserving every surface crack and salt mark.
